This morning I made cherry crepes
Creme cheese with Morello cherries and juice folded in, then speed on a crepe. Topped with homemade cherry syrup.
Good thick sliced bacon and black coffee to go with them.

Eggs Benedict.

Yes, made at home. :D

Hollandaise sauce was tricky and not sure worth the effort.

But poached eggs in an automatic egg cooker, Canadian bacon warmed in the microwave, and English muffins in the toaster were something even I could not mess up.

Planning same thing tomorrow...pix will be posted.

Be safe.

Looks good.

I skipped breakfast this morning. I normally have oatmeal with fruit for breakfast, but I'm planning on trying a more savory oatmeal in the next day or two.

I have a glass of dry Honey Nut Cheerios every morning, which is usually between 10 to 11:30 am for me.

When I visit my folks while their in FL for the winter we have a killer breakfast for dinner.

Scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, bacon, and biscuits and gravy.

I'd love to find a restaurant that could cook like mom!

That's it...I'm done...now I'm gonna have to have breakfast either tonight or I'll do tomorrow.. maybe sour dough pancakes homemade black raspbery jelly and bacon.....might even make the bacon the first major food group kind..ya know...chocolate covered bacon? just joking about chocolate covered bacon guys and gals....I think! And I'm gonna have to have some fried taters and onions soon.

That all looks great, but I'm afraid of what it would do to my sugar.

Thank goodness I don't have to worry about that! I've got enough other problems. :D
I don't use much sugar anywhere. No sweetened cereals, always cut amounts down to care minimums when cooking or baking.
Generally, I prefer savories to sweets.

Toasted 1/2 bagel with sharp white cheddar, Canadian bacon, and a fried egg on top. I can eat it with one hand and navigate the Forum with the other.
