I've had this one on hold for a few weeks now and was finally able to bring it home today. According to "the book" it dates to 1977-1978. The nickel finish is well worn (mostly on the right side) but the action is beautifully smooth. I can't wait to get this one to the range!

I don't know what it is about guns with a worn finish (not beat up or abused but just worn) that attracts me...I'd bet this one has some stories to tell!

That beautiful gun was formally owned by The Good Rev. Charlie! The trigger is as SMOOOOOOTH as 50 year aged Scotch.

She'll out shoot many custom guns costing 20 Times the money!

These are great guns, and have an interesting military history as well. I have 2, one of them for over 25 years. I am looking for some new, easier to acquire sights, if anyone knows of something. Enjoy the marvelous Model 59! Flapjack

Nice gun.

I am going to buy a blued Model 59 in the next days.
Got already pictures from the seller

The barrel has been changed with an Armando Piscetta 7.65 Parabellum when it was imported to Italy since 9 mm Parabellum is forbidden here for private use.

I took it out Saturday and put 100 rounds through it and I had more fun than a tornado in a trailer park! It was suhweet! I'm tempted to carry it as I've got the 17rd flush-fit MecGar mags and it fits my holster, plus it's just a little bigger than my 6906.
