Coming back to s&W after a long while

So... in my journey through daily carry, I started concealed daily carry in 1996 when it came to Texas... I started with a 1911 and soon got tired of the size and weight... so then came a Star PD... very easy to carry but soooo unpleasan5 to shoot... looking for a middle ground, I went to the CS45... and loved it... natural point of aim (for me) and those fat Hogue grips really turne$ the 45 jab into a slow push... even with the da/sa action I could place every shot... and along came the plastic striker fired wonders... I found the full size XD pleasant, the compact tolerable and went to the XDs for the size which got me back to CS45 size... but the XDs with its narrow hard plastic grip is just plain painful to fire... so I don't practice, so what's the point... so I came across a CS45 on GB and bought one, return to range coming soon... what a long strange trip its been... but I think I am home again... now to find a holdtet and tritium sights!
