Considering buying a prelock 686

I have a 686-6. My first and only Smith. So far. I love it. Fit and finish is great. Quality control issues? I don't see that with this gun but again it's my only Smith. I have handled them prior and have yet to see the issues described. Not a fan aesthetically of the lock but it has yet to fail me. Hope it doesn't. Might look into plugging it. But the revolver is beautiful. Not my last. Looking for my next now. Damn holidays sucking up all spare cash
