I am trying to find a good leather holster for my Model 60 that will allow me to keep it on the left side, nearly horizontal when I am driving. I take a number of trips in a motor home and don't want to keep this revolver in an OWB on my my strong side. Any suggestions??

I have looked at and rejected Galco and Desantis, for this purpose, cause I just haven't seen what I want on their sites.

Rob: I'm in Pueblo and I make holsters for the S&W J frames all the time. I have a couple of cross-draw styles that might serve your needs.

You might try the "Mike Magnum" holster from Kellogg Custom Leather:

Looks like a very usable cross-draw system to me

RobNDenver,
Take a look at the Carjacker CrossDraw from Andrews Leather http://www.andrewsleather.com/
I don't attach it to my pants belt, but to the lap belt of my seatbelt. They are well built holsters.

Looks like a nice holster, but did you see this pic on their website?

Now THAT is just down right scary!

I had an old J frame padle holster, I took it and stuffed the padle end into the steering colume, so my spare J frame sits just to the right side of the wheel...talk about easy to get to.

I carry in my pocket normaly, so PITA to get at while seated

I'm going to propose something a bit different that I adopted about a year or so ago with my Model 60. I believe it was Erich who provided this alternative and it works beautifully.....I normally carry my Model 60 (older no dash model made in 1975) in a Mika round cut pocket holster in my right front pocket. When I enter my car, I simply remove my J frame and pocket holster and tuck the whole unit weak side, i.e. appendix carry, making for a very comfortable and effective cross draw. A perfect solution IMHO.
