My sister gave me a box of .357 Sig. I went out and got myself a Glock 33 in .357 Sig.

Last month the same sister and I went to a huge gun show at the Dulles Expo Center and I saw a cool looking AR pistol with an arm brace.
Yesterday, I went for a bike ride with my sister on one of her local trails and when we got back to her place, she handed me these.

Fully loaded with an extra box of ammo.
She once had an M&P15, sold it but still had the loaded mags.
My Birthday's next month and there's another gun show at the Expo Center.
I may just havta get myself a cool AR pistol with an arm brace as a Birthday present for myself.

Having shot and more so watched others shoot AR pistols, I say buy an "M4gery". With a retractable stock and 16" barrel it ain't much bigger but much easier to hit with. Serviceable AR's are right around $500 (my latest "blemished" PSA flat top went together with a cheap scope for a little over $400). Enjoy, whatever you choose. Joe

I don't understand the question. No doubt the purchase is necessary so as to not waste the ammo and mags laying around doing nothing. I do agree a PSA blem would be the way to go, don't think the pistol would be much fun or gratifying at the range, just cool looking. And, I don't have a sister and would like one like yours!

I like the way you are thinking about this Snubs. Kind of like Stone Soup.

Despite the dark shadow cast upon the entire AR family by the media and non-gun people, they are the most amazing firearms ever developed. While they don't have the same charm as a well crafted wood and metal bolt action, they are infinitely more customizable and adaptable, plus you can easily either build one to your exact needs or buy one and customize it as desired. Building one BTW, probably won't save you any money but it's easy to do and there's a sense of satisfaction when completed. There are more parts and accessories available for the AR family than any other firearm on the planet - period.

If you don't own one, then yes, you need one. After you own one, don't be surprised when you "need" more.

There's never been a better time to buy an AR. If it's your first, consider getting a rifle which in my view is a much better tool.

Buy it Snubby!

Everyone should have an AR.

I have a few, but have one as a 7.5" pistol for a truck/car gun when taking road trips. I don't like the plastic or rubber braces. I use a mod 1 Tailhook that's all metal.
