Most days, it's a 642 in the front pocket. When I travel outside of the small town I live in it's a Glock 23 .40 cal. So I'd say that 90% of the time I carry a revolver.
I carry every day, and have for many years. Most of the time, my primary is an auto, 1911-persuasion, usually in 9x23, 10mm or .45ACP. However, my backup is more often than not a Smith J-frame or a Colt D-frame revolver. When I do carry a revolver as primary, it is usually a 3" 681+ PC, a 629 Mountain, or a 3" 65 with bobbed hammer.
I always carry a 340M&P w/ Speer 135 357 SB's in my front pocket. Back it up w/ a 342 w/ Speer 135 38+P's on my ankle.
For when I'm in higher risk areas, a 325PD 2 1/2" w/ 45 Auto Rims; a 21 w/ 44 Spl. DPX or a 640 w/ Speer 135 357 SB, all in IWB carry.
This results in a plan that can be easily modified to fit the weather, clothing requirements, etc. and also allows access to a CCW gun in various positions, driving, sitting, standing, even if on the ground.
Usually a 2" Model 15. Occasionally a 325PD or a light J-frame or a C*** Agent. Used to carry a stainless Government Model with a Model 37 backup. Might conceivably do it again.
Most often a 340 M&P with lazer grips or a Kahr PM9. When I feel I need a lot more I pack a Glock 33. All are carried in Kramer pocket holsters. Sometimes I sustitute a 642 or model 38 for the 340.
Model 340PD with .38 special semi-jacket hollow points most of the time but if I need something smaller I carry my North American Arms .22 magnum revolver.
