Do you carry a revolver for CCW? Which one?

I carry both semiautos and revolvers. Probably my favorite carry-revolver is a 3" K-frame such as the ones pictured here (Model 13 and 65 with bobbed hammer).

Depends on the situation. If I have to grab and go or if I will be having to unarm (e.g. entering a gun free zone), the 642. If I am able to be armed and remain armed, S&W 3953. Both loaded up with Horandy Critical Defense.

I carry nothing but revolvers. I carry a 637 Chief's Special, 315 Night Guard, and a 686 Plus. My bread-and-butter EDC is the 315, but carry the J and L frames infrequently.

J-Frame 637 in front pocket Desantis Nemisis holster. My Favorite.

Or BG-380 in front pocket Desnantis Nemisis. I'm not really a fan of the .380 but that gun shoots pretty good... 400+ rounds & counting.

Or Glock 19 in Crossbreed Supertuck.

And if I actually get around to losing 20 pounds that I put on since blowing out my calf last summer, a new Wilson Combat Lightwight Professional in a Crossbreed Supertuck. That will be my prize for getting back in shape :)

340PD. 135Gr. JHP .357 Magnum. A joy to carry, a PITA to shoot, but I carry more than shoot.

The power of a .357 is there when I need it. No compromises.

I plan on alternating between my 642 and my Ruger LCR-38 depending on the weather and what I'm wearing. The slightly bulkier LCR, with it's wider trigger guard that my gloved finger can easily fit through would may be the better option in cold weather. The 642 pocket carries more easily, great for warmer weather. I'm still undecided if I ever want to CCW a semi-auto.

Of course, I can't carry anything right now, as I'm still eagerly waiting for my CCW permit in the mail. :(

My normal off-duty primary carry is a blued, 3 inch Model 13-3 round butt with non-matching factory grips and a Tyler T-Grip in an old, black basketweave Bucheimer Concealer holster.

I also carry a nickel-plated Model 37 with Hogue Bantam grips in either a Safety Speed spring holster or a Don Hume JIT, both right-handed worn cross-draw. (I have rotator cuff issues in my left shoulder.)

On occasion, I'll carry my issued 4 inch Model 686-6 in an upside down shoulder holster, depending on what's happening.

All that said, since Oklahoma passed open carry last year, I don't have to conceal any of them.

YES, at least 98% of the time. It's usually a Charter Arms .38 Spl Off Duty DAO, but also occasionally a Charter Arms .44 Bulldog and even more occasionally a Rossi 462 stainless 6 shot .357 magnum snub.

Very rarely, usually when in the woods, I carry a single action revolver, mostly a Cimmaron 5.5" Evil Roy in .357 Magnum.

I also just bought over the last weeks another Single Action, an old JP Sauer Hawes Western Marshal, 6.5" .44 mag, as well as a Smith Model 21-4 4" .44spl that is pristine and will probably stay home forever.

Very very very seldom, when I need a very very concealable gun, I carry a Keltec P32.

All the guns I carry are full sized. I don't care for pocket pistols or revolvers.
Sigs/1911's inside the belt w/no holster--rollers in a number of holsters.
Don't care for revolvers in the pants.
Blessings
