Favorite Range Gun?

New-to-me Gold Cup Nat'l Match.
I used to think it was all the Indian.
Some of it is the arrow!
Other than that, usually some type of 1911 or Hi-Power.
More revolvers in the Summer. 4" 19 is my favorite.

SW22 Victory. Reminds me of why I enjoy shooting every time I bring it out. Great little pistol.

I pretty much always place one of my Ruger MK II or III .22's in my range bag when going shooting . They are very reliable , very accurate and inexpensive to shoot.

Favorites change but one of my favorite plinkers is my Colt Cobra .22 but that may be replaced by my new Colt King Cobra .22 which is an awesome revolver.

Beyond that depends on what day it is and whether to sharpen my defense skills, rifle skills or testing something new.

I'm looking forward to just being able to go to the range as the weather improves. There are no real favorites I like shooting them all.
I'll be spending quite a bit of time behind a custom Ruger #1 in 300 H&H in preparation for a free range Gemsbuck hunt in Texas is September. I'm looking for a sweet spot with a 200 grain Accubond. I'll be doing load development for another custom rifle built on a shortened Mauser action in 250 Savage once the final touches are completed.
I almost always take a couple of Smith's with me but a couple I dearly enjoy shooting are a K38 and any of the K22's.
There are two recently adopted birth year K22's and an Outdoorsman that will see some range time.
Sporting clay's season is rapidly approaching as well and that brings a whole other host of firearms all SXS's

In 2011 I bought my 8 year old daughter a Browning 1911-22 pistol and I have to say that when I go to the range it comes with me and get's shot the most of anything I brought with me. I bet we have 15,000 rounds through it and I only remember 3 jams and that was some bad Winchester M-22 Bulk ammo.

I picked up a model 14 about 5 years ago and although I enjoy shooting all of my revolvers it is the one that I just can't resist because it truly does not allow me to miss no matter how hard I try.

Although I love my revolvers, honestly, my favorite range gun is my Glock 44 (22 LR) with a Rugged Oculus suppressor. It's Hollywood quiet, no recoil and the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

Jim Clark built, Colt Government Model, .38 special wadcutter bullseye gun with tuner Bomar rib. Incredibly accurate and fun to shoot. Lots of Smiths that I like but the Clark gun is "Da bomb".

Even though I haven’t shot it in a while, my 17-3 has to be my all-time, most-used range gun.

Nowadays I probably send more rounds down-range from a 3” 64-3 than anything else.

A retired LEO on another forum told me the markings indicate it had been issued to a NYC Transit Police detective, shield #187.
