Easing into the first 25 hours is one thing. No need to do 100 on the way home from the dealership, but if your wipers didn’t work, or the car would occasionally stall, you’d bring back a new car. And cars are significantly more intricate than a gun.Pretty much every UTV, 4 wheeler etc I've ever seen has a 25 hour break in period for the engine, listed in the manual. Most of these cost more than what I spend on my cars, and certainly more than most people spend on a gun.
A cleaned and oiled gun should work. Period. Yeah, some ammo might be the issue, but factory quality ammo if any brand should work reliably.
