FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ENJOY A GOOD SCOTCH......

I splurged and brought a $44 bottle of Knob Creek 120 proof single barrel to my house of worship for the brunch we have after weekend services. I rationed it out in those little plastic shot glasses so everyone who wanted could have a taste. It was much appreciated and the getting was in the giving.

Never did like Scotch.

YEARS ago, 38 to be exact - I was having lunch with a co-worker who had a Scotch hangover.

We had lunch at my favorite club, he ordered Scotch and milk. I couldn't believe that the milk didn't curdle.

I just had to taste it. I knew it was going to be horrid.

And you know what???? It was. LOL

Try some Edradour. Smallest distillery in Scotland. I have the regular and then some of the single cask variety. The latter is parceled out using an "eye-dropper" to selected people!1 Dave_n

I opened up my first bottle of Talisker 10 last night. I might have found my new favorite.

A wee bit above my pay grade. Acquired a taste for Johnny Walker Black in my youth. Don't drink much of anything these days. When I do take the occasional dram, it still works.
