FreeColorado.net recall efforts

When I saw the news on the recall result this morning, I was very pleased indeed. Good job CO! Good job.
Good to see voters doing something about losing their rights.

They both received the result they brought upon themselves by their actions. Glad to see them both gone.

You have to remember the fight is never over you have to stay vigilant in your ideas. There is always someone out there who want's to take your rights away. Not just this issue either.

Remember yours is only one vote but without it the opposition wins, you have to vote.

One question were any of these endorsed by the NRA? Several of the turn coats here were just shows you just cant trust a politician.

Congratulations Colorado!!! Maybe this is the beginning of pulling the state out of it's slide into socialist oblivion that it's been on in recent years. Now for some other states to do the same thing....

Work isn't over. Hickenlooper is next.

Amen! The shooting community in Colorado is going to be making its voice heard in the next elections. Big thanks to the Colorado voters who were able to make the recall happen. (I'm not in their district(s) so I couldn't vote em out.)

As for today, I'll be celebrating Patriot Day at the range. :)

This victory would have certainly gone the other way if the Democrats could have stuffed the ballot box with mail-in votes or extended voting days.

We won a fair fight this time, but voter fraud is a powerful Democrat tool. The old practice of getting voters to the polls with a free bottle of wine and a pack of cigarettes takes on a whole new meaning now that the libs can hand out free dope.

During the campaign Mr. John Morse made the assertion that the recall drive was the result of big money out-of-state interests (despite taking 6-figure donations from out-of-state donors), and not "some unemployed plumber" in Pueblo.

Following the election results Mr. Victor Head (Pueblo plumber and recall organizer) was quoted as asking Mr. Morse "Who is unemployed now?".

Perfect.

Great news. Now can you get the laws repealed in short order?

Andy

The make-up of the Colorado State Senate will now be 18-D and 17-R. The House remains in D-control, and the governor's office is occupied by a strong opponent of individual rights holding the veto pen. Consequently, the objectionable laws are probably going to remain on the books until such time as that level of control is overcome.

November, 2014, will bring a general election. I have hopes that the voters of Colorado will remember the legislative abuses perpetrated during this session and make some changes. I have no doubts that the officeholders and new candidates will remember this lesson.

HCH, not only is extended voting and absentee ballots a big Dem tool so is a lack of voter ID. The Dems are fighting this one nationwide from the AG's office on down. I watched a local church load up their busses and go from precinct to precinct. The same people would get off at each polling place and then they would load up and go to the next poll. Several precincts had more voters than those registered to vote there. No ID required! Their man got elected and a federal judge threw out the results and called for a new election. I don't see the results being any different. I don't care where you live, having a law requiring voter ID helps insure a more honest election. Voter fraud is a huge problem nationwide and it's not being reported by the MSM. Not having voter ID only encourages those who would take advantage of it who don't care about fairness at all.

Congratulations to the voters of Colorado for winning against those who are trying to forcibly take away our rights. Let's keep this ball rolling and throw out all of these useless leeches in other parts of the country. We fought for it, we earned it, now let's keep it!

Colorado recall elections

2 senators from Colorado lost their seats in recall elections. This was due to their anti-gun stance. The governor might be next. Keep up the good work Colorado! I knew you guys had it in you to take these people out.

well we have a trace of politics ... may as well toss in a dash of religion too.
Praise the good LORD!!!!!!!!
can I get an AMEN brothers!!!!

when the various CO laws passed ... open dope and 2A infringement. I became just a little concerned that the disease might be spreading in my general direction given enough time.

The recall results have let me breathe a little easier.
I had no trouble moving FROM a state run by a lefty at the time, but you have to have somewhere to move to ....
its pretty sobering seeing such things spread ... in time we might run out of places to call home for it.
Thank you Colorado.
I mean that.
You deemed it worth fighting for and delivered some well deserved defeat

Giron said she was "perplexed"!

I have seen this twice on Fox news. Even if no other news media reported it you can be very sure that every elected official knows about this.

Well, what does one expect from the Washington Post. This isn't what this was about at all and, it was the people that started the protest. The people voted. What this was really about is that these two senators decided they would follow their party's agenda and totally ignore their constituents. They made sure public input was only from Bloomberg and other outsiders, told their staff to not answer the phones and to not read any constituent email/mail, arranged it so that public input would not be made by constituents, went against the wishes of their base. So, the people tossed them out for not doing their job. They were fired for gross abuse of their position.
