Got my first CCW in Colorado today.

Got my first CCW (called CHP here) in Colorado today. Fairly easy process, especially since I moved here from CA about 5 months ago. Also, thanks to the Forum Members who gave me tips on a recent Thread I did about carrying. Will be nice to know I can defend myself if I ever have to.

I assume that CHP stands for Concealed Handgun Permit and I was wondering what county it was issued by.

Mine is a Concealed Weapons Permit from Douglas County.

Douglas. They recently changed it but I'm not sure why.

They are calling all newly issue ones CHP. Because CCW also meant knives and other things and they didn't want that.
