Hammer Spur On A 64-5 DAO

Seemed a hazard if a stranger were to try and cock it like single action. Why convert it and leave the spur ? I've since taken a Dremel cut off disc to it.

My agency had some DAO Model 64s with the hammer spur. IIRC, the spur served to help secure the gun in the holster as our duty holsters had a strap behind the spur.

That explains it then since mine was a LE sell-off. I never considered the obvious outside of not defining stranger.
