Seen quite a few hi-points in nylon holsters, half the time they sitting almost at the small of the back. One time at Golden Corral, the guy had a .25 auto in a ballistic nylon holster hanging down from the belt buckle. Few times at Goodwill store I've seen a guy with a Ruger P89 in a nylon holster.
Went once to one of those carry all stores that have a little bit of everything, sort of like a pawn shop that only buys stuff, guy had tons of 9mm brass cased Remington Military ammo for 12 bucks a box, he had on his hip a S&W 19 2", after I expressed interest in it, he took it out, unloaded it and handed it to me, thing was grungy as all get out, months of caked up oils, and when I looked down the barrel, there was no light, seems it had a few months of lint. LOL, I told him if he tried shooting it he'd prob blow his hand off, he ended up giving me the gun for a few days so that I could clean it proper and ended up getting 4 boxes of 9mm for what amounted to about 3 hours of cleaning. Had to break it down to it's base pieces, but now it actually looks like a factory new pistol, AND it works.
