Headed back to church today for first time in three months,

Went back last week for first time....same rules you have.

Different...but good. Everyone is at a different comfort level with this stuff....good to be cautious, if only to make others feel less worried about getting back into the world.

We decided to meet outside whenever weather permits - works wonderfully. Right now our county only allows 25% capacity so somewhat difficult to meet inside. Hoping that changes in 2 weeks. Either way there are A LOT of people still very nervous/concerned about the virus

Met for the first time last week. Really strange. There was a request to pre-register for attendance. When we got there ushers (masked) escorted us to assigned seating. Every other pew seating and of course distance between families. No handshaking or fist bumps and pews emptied from rear to front at the end of service. Still, it felt great to be in church again!

Went to the contemporary service today which is usually a bit loud for those of us of the "mature persuasion" but our senior pastor was preaching. Not a huge turn out but more than I expected.

Was good to be back. God is good.

Had two services last week but our daughter had a fever of 101 degrees so we stayed home. Went today and the same rules as everyone else. Have to be honest, I am tired of the distancing, the masks, & things being closed.
It was however great to see people and see my kids interact with their friends. You could even see the joy in the eyes & smile of my littlest one seeing friends and teachers.
Our assistant pastor preached a good sermon about our witness,to others. It was definitely good to be back...

We met online for about 2 months. We have been meeting in person, with significant restrictions (25% occupancy, masks, seating spread out, etc.), for the past month. We still live stream the services for those who are still not comfortable coming.

Today was our first in-person service in 3 months too.
Similar rules.
3-seat spacing between families, every other row of setas removed, no hand shakes, no fist bumps, and no hugs.

I'm not a huggy kind of guy, but I really wanted to hug the pastor or even shake his hand.
I just wanted to sincerely thank him (and team) for all the effort!

We did the 9am service, since we didn't know how many folks would actually attend.
Glad we did, and glad we got there early!
It was a full house (with reduced capacity).
The 11am service couldn't accommodate everyone. That's good and bad, at the same time.

We've been doing the live streaming services (for several churches).
They've been well done, for all three.

But today we saw the emotion from the pastor that's been missing from the streaming services.
It was powerful.

This was our second Sunday service.

We started last Sunday. Today was our third service. As an usher we wear masks and seat preregistered congregants in assigned seating. And dismiss from the back also.
And yes it is fantastic to be back. The congregation is slow deciding to come back. Less than 50 % attendance today. I have no problem with people coming back when they feel safe. JA

Yup, we went back for the first time today as well, same rules as described by the OP. Though our Governor will only allow us to seat 25% of our normal capacity at this point. So we had 2 services to accommodate as many as possible. It worked out well, we didn't turn anyone away and most of the seats were filled for both services.

As part of the ushering ministry and security team I get the pleasure of informing people of, and "enforcing" those rules.

No problems though, and it sure felt good to be back. We had drive-in services in the parking lot for Easter and Mother's Day, but as nice as it was to see people at the two drive-in services, it wasn't quite the same as having a real unified worship service like this morning.
