Today was our first in-person service in 3 months too.
Similar rules.
3-seat spacing between families, every other row of setas removed, no hand shakes, no fist bumps, and no hugs.
I'm not a huggy kind of guy, but I really wanted to hug the pastor or even shake his hand.
I just wanted to sincerely thank him (and team) for all the effort!
We did the 9am service, since we didn't know how many folks would actually attend.
Glad we did, and glad we got there early!
It was a full house (with reduced capacity).
The 11am service couldn't accommodate everyone. That's good and bad, at the same time.
We've been doing the live streaming services (for several churches).
They've been well done, for all three.
But today we saw the emotion from the pastor that's been missing from the streaming services.
It was powerful.
