Here is an answer to people who argue that the NRA is campaigning for everybody to carry guns.

In response to a violent incident, NOT involving guns, an individual replied with the typical "Wait until everyone carries guns"

This is ridiculous. Where is the threat of everyone carrying guns? The real issue is for people to have a choice to carry guns IF THEY WANT TO. Such over exaggeration is a psychological ploy from the people who want to ban guns on a wholesale basis.

If I say so myself, I thought this to be an effective argument.

Nice retort, however you have made a critical mistake: You are assuming that those who make ridiculous anti-gun statements actually care about the Constitution, or the truth.
