How are you beating the heat?

It was 55 degrees this morning.. and reached 72 today.

But.. Now I'm too old to climb Mount Le Conte.
On Mount Le Conte (6,593' elevation), temperatures above 80 degrees are extremely rare.

So far it hasn't been too bad here this summer. Not many days above the mid 80's. But I stay in the AC during the hottest part of the day most of the time and I just got the repaired the AC in my Suburban. I still need to repair the AC it in my classic MB so I can drive it some this summer.

I'm currently in Wisconsin, it isn't hot here. High of 63 yesterday, 66 when I got up this morning.

Supposed to be mid ninety's by Thursday. If have to be outside, water to drink and wet down clothes/hat/rag around neck.

Around here during summer if you have a pool, you gotta pump out 3 inches of water every evening. In Az you gotta add 3 inches every evening. Joe

I got a break from that $200 dollar bill today.

My little personal fan didn't work this morning. No biggy?

When I got up I decided to fix a post that wasn't set right a couple of weeks ago. I managed to get it right after busting the quick set apart with a hand sledge and chisel and a lot of cussing the "help" that knew how to do it but didn't know how to measure.

Then I hit the shower for Monday pizza at my friends place.

Dang it! The bad help is there today and I don't get to see my wife's old friend. No problem, the pizza's good.

I come home and notice its a little warm in my house. It's good, I musta forgot to turn down the thermostat before the heat of the day. I bumped it down and nothing.

Blinking Bleep!!! Its froze over. Bleeping hotter by the minute. I go fix,,,,, The fan is fried. No problem, I have another.

Well it got dark then and I'll be hung. Both of my porch lights are out. Not good, I don't have backups and not only that, The only street light has been out for a week.

No problem, The moons out.

Did I just drift? It's all good. No problem.
