How many of you have 38 special revolvers

Ok, I'm in I guess. .38 specials at my house

S&W 10-6 4" (stays in the night stand)
S&W 642-1 (stays in the truck)
Colt Diamondback 2.5" (stays in the safe)

I have several and enjoy them, not to mention a Model 52 pistol. When I shoot my dad's old cast and greased lead wad cutters a revolver gives off a big cloud of smoke at indoor ranges but nobody has ever said anything to me about it. There is something really nice about a smith revolver and .38 spl. wad cutters. Great trigger, light recoil, nice clean holes in the target, back to basics.

I have 4 .38 only revolvers. 10-5, 64-3, 67 no dash, 14-3, I just happen to like them all! Bob

I have been selling off my collection for the past 2 years, but still have 6 .38's. 3 J Frames and 3 K Frames. My N Frame 38/44 Outdoorsman was the most fun shooter.

Here's a few of mine.

As for how many have 38 Special revolvers, I'm going to guess that over 90% have or have owned a 38 Special revolver....

I know I've had a couple over the years..... :)

I've owned my fair share of Smith K-frames and a few J-frames. My only .38 revolver is my 1974 10-5 square butt with a 2" barrel. It shoots great and is one of the best shooting revolvers I have owned. Shooting .38 specials out of my .357 stainless Ruger Blackhawk is fun too.

Traded a Ruger MK111 and a few hundred rounds of .22 for this one.
"You sure?
"Yea, fired a few rounds, didn't like the recoil"

If we're talking strictly .38 Special (not .357), I have two...both extremely accurate.

a Model 15-3

and a Model 10
C756Q7h.jpg

One .38 Spcl . one .357 Mag , and one .38 S&W . Used to be referred to as the .38 S&W Short .

I have five J-frame 38s, two are 2" M36s, and one is a 3" M36, one 2" target M50, and one 2" M60.
I have six K-frame 38s, five are 4" - one M15-5, one M67-6, two post WWI M&Ps, plus one 5" Victory.
So yeah, you could say I kinda like the 38s and have a few.
Not even counting any of the 357s which also shoot 38 special.
EDIT: I forgot one - a RIA M206 - a less refined copy of the 2" D-frame Colt

I have a few, here left to right:
Like many, I have Model 19 .357 that has shot a lot of .38 spls.
Model 10 with 2" barrel.
Model 10 with 4" barrel.
Model 642-1.
Model 67 no dash.
And please forgive the profanity, but I also have
Charter's Undercovers and
Colt's Agent (Sorry, no room for the Agent).

Should of skipped the Charter and included the Agent!
