How much did you pay for your M&P Shield?

NH residents can't purchase MA compliant guns? What's the diff? My guess is the trigger pull? I've seen MA compliant guns in some shops around here but no restrictions on sales

No, I can most certainly legally own it. However, he was having a heck of a time getting MA-compliant models in. So, being a NH resident, he was hesitant to sell me one knowing that it would be easier for me to get a non-MA one at some point.

Only difference is the trigger pull, which I plan on having worked over at some point anyways.

called my LGS where they said they'd put me on a waiting list and sell it to me for 575.00 plus tax. I said no thank you and called another LGS where they had 2 in stock. 449.00 plus 6% tax. Was about 480.00 OTD

I paid MSRP at my LGS where I also shoot. They had 2 come in and thought I might want one and so put my name on it. I have been a member there for over 14 years and I make it a point to buy at least one gun a year from them to show my support. Leases, insurance and labor are killers in this area. They are thoughtful and good people and also do my FFL transfers. One hand, does indeed, wash the other.

$440 shipped through Grabagun.com on 2/6/13. Can't complain with that price these days.
Got mine from there on the same day.
I kept refreshing their page for the Shield in 9mm, until I saw it was "In Stock" and bought it then. I felt was a fair price, considering the market right now.

I paid $449 + tax for mine (NIB). It was at a local MA shop where I had to drive an hour to get to.

$439 plus $20 Shipping for my .40 from D&L. Should be here next week. Just ordered it this morning 2/12/13

Same place I ordered from - they followed up to confirm various details to speed up the transaction, really seemed like great people to deal with. I promised I'd put the word out - really looking forward to shooting my 9mm Shield by the weekend!

Overpaid on gunbroker $590 including shipping and transfers, but? Well, I've got a 9mm Shield. Sure I could put my name on a wait list at the LGS (actually did), but when would it come in? That's not just a question of patience, once Mario Cuomo's law kicks into second gear on 4/15/13, that 8 round mag becomes illegal to purchase in this ever so safe state of NY. So I overpaid, but that extra C note might just be the difference between me owning a Shield 9 vs. getting shut out.

Hello, new member first post. I had been looking for a 9mm Shield for a couple of months now. Our local Sportsmans Warehouse gets their stock shipment on Monday mornings so I made it a point to be there as soon as they opened this past Monday and I got the one and only 9mm Shield. $419.99 plus 5% VA sales tax = $440.99

It is nuts what some people are trying to sell these for on ArmsList. No stores in Ohio have any, but I will wait a few months before I pay 600+, even though it is an absolute great piece.

Picked mine up on Saturday for $425 + tax. My LGS received 9 mixed 9 and 40 with a wait list of 34!
Off to the range next week.

LGS wants $600! I told him I would pay MSRP plus tax and background check and no more. He said no. I politely informed him that I will no longer be a patron of his store.

He didn't seem to care. Oh well.

All of u on this thread were very lucky, out the door, january 2013, $742 including tax in dunedin fl. And that was the only one in a 50 mile radius that was for sale new in the box. But i would have paid more since i looked at beretta, kimber, kahr and sig. Shield was best of all!

Gunnewbie, here in florida

Guess I paid too much....or did I?

You are all making me feel bad....paid $575 for a shield in 40 cal. Shoot it this Friday....hope it was worth it....
