I am kind of like Sam Elliot in We Were Soldiers by the time I need more ammo there will be plenty laying around.

People are ammo hoarding because TP hoarding isn't possible right now.
As for closing the beaches, the agenda is clear. Close everything and people will stay home, reducing contact between people and hopefully slowing the spread of COVID-19. It's curfew by boredom.

All the Spring Breakers and Tourists are still here though. The college "kids" will riot! They don't have to back to school cause those are closed as well
Lets see no beach. no bars,no drinking no partying,no concerts no movies
Of course they will self distance so no sex either!

Only thing I was worried about was dog food. Couple of clicks at Chewy. com fixed that.
I was taking my guns and ammo in a small boat across Lake Tahoe to a cabin I'd rented for the week, and the weight of the ammo broke out the bottom of the boat and I lost it all. Fortunately for me, a Coast Guard cutter was nearby and rescued me.

I think I have enough to hold off until help gets here.
I expected that folks here would be pretty well set. I was right.
Considering that all of my kid's strategy for dealing with a zombie apocalypse is "Get to Dad's" I consider myself ok.
I even got my last shipment of a not very popular caliber last Saturday.
Interesting news today that Amazon will not be handling third party sales until April in order to focus on food, necessities and cleaning supplies.

Well it would not be a good idea for me say just how many rounds I have in how many calibers so lets just say that When the doomsday marauders come for me I won't last long enough to run dry.
I know it sounds funny but I find that to be somewhat of a comfort. I don't want to die while I still have one round in the chamber. That would mean one more bad guy I missed the opportunity to eliminate. I want to make every round count and get all I can.
I guess that when that slide locks back for the final time I will have done all I can and I'll be ready to go.

One word: PATIENCE This too shall pass.
I have no ammo wants or needs, now, or in the last decade.
I've got enough for awhile.
My son and I went into a local Academy yesterday looking for clothes for him. Of course, we had to stop by the gun counter in the back corner for a quick look. Holy moley! The ammo counter looked like the toilet paper counter at the grocery store. They were sold out of ARs and shotguns. Only a few hunting rifles and 22s on the wall. The gun counter was literally swarmed while the rest of the store was pretty empty.
Do they think they can shoot the virus?
