Hello Everybody

I am about to go on my first week-long hunting trip and this time I am taking my 460 XVR with me as the main hunting firearm.
I thought of this great new site that I joined and so I hoped I may get some feedback and tips from more experienced hunters esp those of you guys who have used 460 to hunt. Namely, bear hunting.

It is much appreciated what you can provide me with as little experience as you might have.

Thank you,

Here is the link for a thread from a few years ago. Has some info you are looking for.

By the way, my Burris pictured is still going strong.

By the way, I have learned that .454 casull is all you need for deer, hogs and black bear. To me, the .460 X-frame is a great platform, but the 460 round is a beast to shoot. I learned the hard way to use ear protection when hunting, particularly out of a condo stand.

Enjoy your bear hunt.
