yesterday was Addison's Birthday her and Brylee's Birthday aren't a week apart so we celbrated both of them at our kid's House. We had a full house of Guest's and Brylee took it well you would not know that anything was wrong wih her as she played on the floor wih her Gifts. She blew out the candle on her special cake with my wife help her by holding her up to do it. It felt good to have her home this weekend. her Chemo Treatment starts this coming week it will be hard on her and the family but we need to shrink this Tumor.

Glad there was a bright spot before the upcoming trials. The little ones may not be real clear on what exactly is normal, but they sure do know what they like!

Here is what our Daughter Nicky and my wife Nancy wrote. This was posted by Nicky on Wednesday December 10th. "Well tomorrow is the big day. We rushed around all day to take care of a months worth of stuff and it absolutely broke my heart to leave 3 of my babies tonight to prepare for tomorrow. Everything about this sucks... Please pray for strength for our entire family. Addison turned 3 today and mom and dad did a sweet little party for her and I felt horrible having to say my goodbyes on her birthday. Addison is having a very hard time and I'm really worried about her. Please pray for my parents who are taking care of our girls because I know they can be a handful and please pray for strength for Tyler and I as we prepare to watch our baby go through this." Nicky and Tyler brought Addi and The twins over to the house Wednesday night as they will be staying with Kurt and I while Brylee is in the hospital for her 1st round of Chemo. This is knocking the hell out of us all emotionally. Brylee and I have this little game with play with rubbing foreheads and then she just laughs. Well I gave her a kiss as she sat on my lap just before they left. At one year old this precious little thing smiled at me put her hands on the side of my head and pulled my head down . I thought she wanted to rub foreheads but she pulled my hair down and gave me a kiss on my forehead. I love you so much Brylee . We sure are gonna have some stories to tell when you get older. All of this Just does not seem Fair, she is such a Happy Baby here is a shot of her with Her Bib's on in our Kitchen recently you would not know that anything is really wrong with her, my Heart Bleed's for her but I must stay strong for the family through this all. Brylee had her first day of Chemo Therapy and it went well. The doctor's said that the Tumor is all ready shrinking. She was in Good spirit's and did not get sick from it. Her spirit's are high and she never lost that smile. She will get more today so we are keeping our finger's crossed that the tumor keep's on shrinking and that she is not in Much Pain from this procedure. Regards, Kurt

What wonderful news. The fact that the tumor is shrinking so soon is Jesus at work. We all must keep praying for her absolute full recovery. And prayers to Jesus of Thanksgiving for his work in her life. Thru our prayers and faith, all is possible with Jesus.

Hello All
Brylee is in her second day of Chemo Therapy. They will be doing three more day's of it then she will be able to come home for a break from it all. It is working so Far they say that it is all ready reducing the size of the tumor. I am sure she will get sick from it all in time but for now she is a fighter and not showing any sign's of being sick. Regards, Hammerdown

We have recently recieved some Donation's from the S&W forum Members here. Bless your Heart's all it really humbles me getting Monatary help from people that I do not even really know.
As you can Imagine This Current situation has jacked the cost up for all of the family involved here, and we have no choice but to pay it Gas alone is killer enough with all of the running around that we have to do. We Travel to our Kid's House 15 Miles one way Twice per day to let out their dog's, check on their cat's, Feed their fish and such. I can tell you it was a Lot easier when I was Younger than it is now but being the Grandpa and the Old man in the family it is my Pleasure to pitch in in any way, fashion or form that I may have to as I am the leader of our small family. Our Kid's are buying extra groceries to feed them self's while Brylee get's her Chemo-Treatment as Hospital food and drink's are sky high, so all donation's really help the entire family. Thank's all for the continued support, Many act's of Kindness, prayer's and donation's as they really help us out and Touch our Heart's in these Very Trying times. Regards, Kurt
