Last week there was some discussion about the Netflix Movie "Ballad of Buster Scruggs". In the movie, Pistolero Buster Scruggs draws and shoots the fingers off his opponents hand. Today, I tried to duplicate this feat....
Made a target by outlining my hand with a sharpie, then placed it at 50'. Shot it with a careful, two hand hold, standing. Revolver was my Ruger Blackhawk .357, shooting a handload of 158 grain lead round now flat point bullet (Missouri Bullet Company #11 Ranger), propelled by enough Unique to make 1000 feet per second.
Took me three tries to shoot it clean. I'm not ready to face down Buster Scruggs or his ilk, but the revolver can do it.....
