great little guns
Welcome to the Forum from Virginia!
Your 32 Hand Ejector looks to be in great condition. Mine is serial number 514771 and shipped in December 1939 per Dr. Roy Jinks, the S&W Historian.
Do not forget to clean your 32 Hand Ejector right after shooting with nitro-solvent per the factory instruction sheet that was in the original box your grandpaps gun shipped in way back when
Enjoy it, they are fun to shoot and I agree with Wiregrass value estimate $300 maybe more if you have the box and docs. I gave $400 for mine to a couple who had no gun knowledge and just wanted it out of the house after inheriting it. On my way out, they gave me a box of modern (circa 1978) ammo with exactly one round missing which according to family lore was ever fired through the gun, grandad bought it, never used it, son got it on his grandads passing, son bought 1 box of ammo fired one round, cleaned it, put it away and his daughter got it on his passing.
I am having one heck of a lot of fun shooting rounds through this old wheel gun, trying to make up for a whole lifetime of sitting forgotten in a sock drawer.
Enjoy yours, especially in grandad's memory. Like said priceless!
