As long as we're dreaming about guns never made, I want a 3926TSW and a 5926TSW. I like the idea of a full size, all steel 9mm with a integral rail, which S&W obviously has no interest in producing these days. I would settle for decock-only slide control, but I prefer having it on the frame like a SIG. I'd also be interested in DAO versions of each.*
Additional requests:
- a higher beavertail and undercut trigger guard/frame so I can get a higher grip on the gun
- coarser slide serrations to make it easier to rack the slide
- a cut in the front of the frame like the integral rail 4006TSWs a few of the guys here have. That makes stripping the mag out easier.
- coarser front strap checkering for a better grip, also like those late model 4006TSWs
- larger mag release button
*And if I'm ambitious enough, I could probably track down a late 5906TSW or 5946TSW and have pretty much what I'm looking for, but they're rare as hen's teeth. At this point, I'd probably buy a 4006TSW with those features, even though I don't currently shoot or particularly like .40 S&W.
