Tough decision, wow. I can no longer use my J's for a second pistol? OK. I guess one of those Ruger 5 shot wheel guns would almost fill the same shoes...

But. If 8 rounds of a good autoloading cartridge are good, then eight rounds of 357/38 should also work. So for now, take the J out of this pic and keep the N frame. Many other pistols could work. I might be tempted to start keeping a rifle locked up in the car...

J-frames don't exist, huh? Well, in that case, I'll stick a short barreled I-Frame, .32 in my coat pocket. Either that or more likely a snubby Model 10.

Well Rastoff was the definite Matthew Quigley here. The only one to "have a way with words," and post a well worn gun. I found it interesting how so many stayed with the revolvers either by brand cheating or upsizing and even downsizing the frame.

I'm with the Tupperware camp only I'm going 10mm with a .40 conversion barrel in my G29. It'll disappear; I'll make it so.

M&P 9c with grip extensions so I can use full size mags if needs be.

Ruger LCR in .22 Magnum. I'm surprised nobody has chosen one of the LCRs. Inferior to a J-frame certainly, but J-frames no longer exist in this dismal world MrJT has created.

If it had not been for that tragic boating accident, I would have chosen a 4" Kimber Pro Carry. Now, I guess it would have to be a stillson wrench, in the classic steel and cast iron for maximum impact. Naturally, it would have the early style 1-piece wooden stock. The bare iron grip is just too slippery for a last-ditch weapon.

Is a 3" N frame considered full size? Assuming it is, I'd probably go with my 66/19 2.5 or G30. There would be many others in my current rotation that would be pissed off!!!
