Of course I have been collecting Social Security for 18 months now but still have not seen a stimulus check.

I learned early on in my married life this... her money is hers, my money is ours which translates to hers because she keeps the books. She is pretty good about not complaining if I spend some of it without asking permission as long as the bills all get paid first.

The only thing I've never heard my wife claim is a shotgun and a fishing pole so I guess they are mine. Everything else is hers. Her living room, her house, her yard, her car, etc. I'm happy with that because all I ever wanted out of life was a shotgun and a fishing pole. Larry

Sounds like my closet! Fortunately, I don't qualify for a stimulus check, but my ladyfriend does, also unemployment. The situation here in Vegas is dire, so much so that the media have decided not to dwell on it. She went from 8 hours daily down to 6 hours. My gal has worked 2 days in the last 3 weeks and now her casino restaurant will only be open Fri to Mon. She does not expect to be called... I can cover for her, mortgage, etc., and do so gladly, but I should not have to. Thank you, governor (small 'g').
