Is MIM getting over it's stigma?

I had it explained to me this way...this presented to those who refused to own anything but forged steel rather than MIM...Sam Colt was known to insist on the best materials and methods available to do the same job...and had to be affordable. Now...if a new method was introduced (such as MIM) that could do the same job at equal or less cost and do it just as well...would Old Sam embrace it? The answer is most likely yes.

It has NOTHING to do with whether MIM parts will fail,,
it only has to do with the level of workmanship in a gun,,

Look what people pay for old Colt SAA pistols,,
THOSE parts are JUNK compared to MIM parts,,

It is just nice handling a forged/machined part, compared to the MIM,,
