You have me in a rare position on the oyster dressing recipe as we just make it and there is not an official recipe, but here is what we do to make it: dried bread crumbs, celery, onion, turkey broth, chop a handful of oysters, two eggs, then stir together and bake at 350 until it browns.

The actual thing is you could use your own dressing recipe or Stove Top Dressing and just add the oysters. Buy a can and use about half.;)

We like to have wild game for Thanksgiving, if possible.
This year, thanks to my youngest son, we have two ruffed grouse.
My contribution, so far, is a young snowshoe hare.
We may also make a small piece of venison that someone gave us.
(My son saw a deer tonight, but couldn't tell what it was. We've been chasing deer since the season opened and it's the first either of us have seen).

The grouse will be wrapped in bacon and basted with apple cider.
It's the best way we've ever found to cook them.
We have yet to decide on a way to cook the snowshoe.

My wife will make hard rolls and a couple different kinds of pie too.
