My search for a 14-5 began after I bought a near perfect 14-4 for Distinguished Revolver matches and found it to be too light for me. I bought a 586 with the full under lug and liked the weight but the trigger, even after some work, just didn't compare to my 14-4. I was outbid several times on GB, and even had a local deal fall through just as as we were exchanging cash and gun. No hard feelings on my part because it was his dad's gun and he couldn't let it go.
Last weekend I walked into registration at a match and there it was, my now new to me, 14-5 on the table for sale, it had everything I wanted, competition trigger and wide hammer - SOLD!
I didn't think it was possible but the trigger is even better than my -4.
