On closeout! Serial HBY****. Only 300 rnds thru, so far, very impressed!

I bought my 15-22 sport on the 15th, box shows 29MAR17 as date of manufacture with a serial number of DEP82XX. I have put 200 rounds of Federal Automatch thru it. Have had 5 FTF's, 2 I am sure were due to improper stacking in the mag, the others I am unsure of as I double checked the rounds for being staggered. Had 1 FTE today, took about 5 pulls on the charging handle to get it out.
The Magpul flipup sights have been accurate out of the box from 50 yards to 20 feet.

This thing is just as amazing as advertised. Threw on an old red dot I had lying around and put 300 or so flawless rounds through her. Pure joy.

Three to add:

M&P 15-22 Sport DFRxxxx 06/2019 - No issues at all!

M&P 15-22P Pistol WARxxxx 04/2022 - Shoots great!

M&P 15-22 Sport MOE-SL FDE LBKxxxx 02/2023 - Have not had a chance to shoot it yet.

First post, been really happy with them and find myself interested in their history. Trying to find info like when were they initially released (something more definitive than 'early 2009'), when did the Gen 1 15-22's cease production, and the production start and end date's for the first M&P 15-22 Pistol. If anyone knows of sources for that type of info, I'd appreciate any guidance! Working on a 15-22 production time line.
