Lee Quick Trim Experience

Does anyone have experience with the Lee Quick Trim spinning cases. I bought the power one to put in a drill and anytime I use it the case just spins and doesn't trim. I wanted to give this method a shot because back in 2018 I bought some primed nickel 357 mag brass in an online auction. I'd never got around to messing with it largely because it wasn't resized before it was primed. Either way I decided to pop the primers and resize the brass and trim them all down to 38 special length and figured this would be a quicker way to trim 1000 pieces. I'm using a progressive press if that makes a difference. Thanks for the advice.

I always wondered if those things worked as well as a conventional trimmer.

With the price of 357 cases, are you sure you want to turn them into 38 cases?

I would think a trade or sale would be a much better idea?

The Quick Trime is not made to take off tenths of a inch. It's made to trime a few hundredths. Mine works quite well on finishing up 223 to 300 Blackout cases. I do the rough cut on the chop saw to a small base sized 1.63 to 1.65 and trim to 1.61 to 1.57

I guess I should have done more research into the trimmer. I have a camlok Lyman for a few every once in awhile so this will probably go back to Midway.
I will probably just use the nickel 357s as my brass for 38 velocity in a 357 case, and use all my regular brass 357 for magnum velocity.
