Shoot Straight in Apopka. They have the best prices that I have seen in the area. Counter service is not always the best.
Have used Als near downtown for FFL transfers. Bass Outdoor has been full retail every time I have been in there plus you have to take a number to even talk to someone. Gander Mountain falls somewhere in the middle.
I have tried to find a smaller shop to call home but no luck so far.
I see many post about shop in certain locations that a few members either visit frequent or that are popular. Does anybody live in the Orlando fl area and would recommend some good gun shops....? Lol
IF you can find a good "Mom & Pop" LGS,that's the way to go. I try to stay away from the big box stores when I can. The big box won't hagle over prices like a good "Mom & Pop" will. If I have to take a number,I walk.![]()
East Orange shooting sports in Winter Park, or The Gun Vault which is near Fairbanks and I-4.

Absolutely right! I just found a new "Mom & Pop" shop about 5 minutes from me. They're a touch more expensive across the board...but thats ok with me. We need to support these shops.
Yea I have shoot at east-orange before, the prices are fair there, in terms of the range etc. Are they flexible on firearm prices?

Yes we do or the "big box" will eat us alive.
Once they get to know you,"Mom & Pop" are the ones that will work with you and you'll end up ahead in the long run.I love hearing "Thought you might like one of these" or "We'll see what we can do" and a "I got what you were looking for" call.
