M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Im done modding this thing. I have 6 full size and 2 shorty mags.

I changed the front sight post on the MBUS to a 0.050" wide post. I made the mistake of putting my VLTOR Imod clubfoot stock on the 15/22 from my other rifle and loved it, so here it is wearing a carbine I-mod stock I literally just slipped on.

Scope is a PA 1-4x, with deluxe forward mount. AFG1 and Magpul rail panels. Crappy cell pics, I'll edit the post later with nice Hi-Res pics

Ther Red dot and Scope are on there for display only. However you can view thru both, I may try it at the range today. Who knows it might work...lol

The scope has worked well, but the red dot has been a bit of a pain due to its high mount (holds zero within a narrow range only). I'm contemplating moving it to a lower 45 degree rail mount...

M4 Carbine Handgaurd on M&P 15-22 - Parts/Tools List

New member here and new owner of a 15-22. Lately I have had an over-whelming notion to swap out my 15-22 quadrail for an M4 carbine handgaurd. I just love the look and want the same for my rifle.

So, I have been researching this for months and before I take the plunge I wanted to check with the experts here that I've come to respect and admire so much.

Now I know that this could be quite a project but understand that it is do-able. So before I get into it I have compiled a short list of parts and tools that will be needed to complete this project.

If any members can add thier advice and/or direct me, please take a look at the list of parts and tools I have below and add or remove anything that is needed or not and perhaps add any other info that may be necessary.

My M&P 15-22

Here is my M&P 15-22 MOE edition/model
I know it is a little much, but I am not using it in any real world application. Only to shoot at paper so I decided to pimp out my M&P 15-22. Please let me know if you know of any other over the top accessories. I am thinking about getting a paint job (digital camo), but my friends are thinking it is a waste of money. I also found a cup holder and a cell phone holder but the range does not allow alcohol so negative on the cup holder and my no free range finder app on my android phone.

Nope the length of the charging handle is short and not as long as the traditional charging handle. I just double check for you with my cheek riser and if you have the stock on the 1st setting (closest to the charging handle) it does get in the way but as long as you have the stock set back a little then no it does not get in the way.

Let me know if you want me to take pictures with the charging fully extend with the cheek riser

Got mine!

Picked up my #811033 last Friday. Got to put about 250 rounds through it this weekend. Lots of fun! Only custom thing (so far) is a TruGlo Red/Green Dot.
