Oh man, I would freak! I only got 1 buddy who likes to shoot and collect guns and when we go down to his property, we might find 1 or 2 if were lucky but its only about 8 acres. We also have to be careful of our backgrounds like houses, horses, etc. Do you eat them?? I have heard of people eating them but...don't think that's for me. Tastes like chicken they say.

So you have shot a 12ga out of the 37mm launcher your wife is holding there? It mounts directly to the rail, correct? Do you think that's ok for the gun?

It tasteds like squirrel. Don't believe it tastes like chicken. They are a pain in the butt to skin and not a lot of meat. If you get enough for a stew you got something though.

How to skin a squirrel
I have been hunting squirrels since I was old enough to carry a gun and they are delicious! I often hear people complain about how hard squirrels are to skin. They are actually the easiest animal to skin, if you know a little trick.
Grab the squirrel by the tail (belly up) with your thumb pointing right where the sun don’t shine.
Make a cut in front of your thumb right were the tail meets the body (Parallel to the tail)
Cut about a 1/2 inch.
Step on the tail and grab the hind legs.
Pull up hard.
Some additional cuts may be needed, until u get the hang of it.
All of the skin will come off even around the hands.
Enjoy!

Best way and only way i know how to skin'em
we make squirrel stew,scrambled eggs and squirrel,it might take 15-20 for the stew

I haven’t heard about it but I know where you are talking about, is there WMA that you can hunt there? 200+ is a good weekend! People think you’re crazy when you tell them you eat squirrels, but they are delicious! We have some land about 45 miles west of Macon Ga. . .. a lot squirrels! Good to hear someone knows the method.

Looking forward to the AFG review; the theory behind it appears to make sense.
I hope you have another AR rifle for that B.A.D. lever as it won't fit the 15-22. I bought an extra thinking I'd use one on my 15-22 and no dice. Note that I only tried to fit it without modification but I recall the trigger guard interfered with the lever movement.

lol, yeah.. it wasnt easy. I discovered a few tricks that made it a little more 'anger-friendly'. but yes.. its a little time consuming, and a PITA, bit I think it looks good, so I guess it was worth it. ..not to mention, it was a crappy rainy day anyway!

Phil, thinking about that mako foregrip. I bought the caa 3 way folding grip and didn't like it ( had a ton of wobble ) Your thoughts on the mako grip? I think it LOOKS good w/ this rifle.

Phil, ur rifle even looks better in person... great to get to see ya today... My optics came in after you left. And we built two more 1919s lol... long day.. the scope is a NCSTAR rubber armored mkIII tactical with a built in laser... and bullet drop comp.. the reticle glows blue.. and the laser is red...and its quick detach... very sweet.. anyway here are the pics

Here I was a peace-loving golfer, and 2 weeks ago, my buddy took me to the range. Had a good time, and saw this cool looking gun on the store shelf....
Buddy told me it was a rifle from a company Smith & something...
Five days later, after about 80 hours on this forum (problematic, only because it was a work week), I was the proud owner of a Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 (Wife's comment? "you'll shoot your eye out...").
Five days and 850 rounds later, my ebay bill is quickly approaching the cost of the gun... and wife's pissed cuz I told her this new hobby was cheaper than golf..
waiting on the arrival of my Barska red dot electro sight, and my S&W Tactical rifle case...
yet to come.. one of Belt Fed's really cool barrel shrouds, a Magpul CTR, a Magpul Miad grip, Magpul BUIS sights, a Grip Pod bipod, maybe a really bright flashlight, a pretty red laser, and a partridge in a pear tree.
Now I just have to learn to hit something with it when that flame comes out the open end......

do mall ninja's have different levels? a white belt for a black rifle with side rail mounted sights to shoot gangsta style versus a black belt for a guy fully geared up for WWIII.
you know, they have derogatory terms for us tacticool rifle guys but what about the cowboy action shooters who get all decked out in the latest 1860's fashion and even have aliases like black bart and marshall butthead. would they be saloon ninjas?
