First off, THANKS for the compliment( Ive got more in the ad-ons than the rifles base cost, as Im SURE lots of us do lol) Now to answer your question. As far as the shroud goes, Its merely a fake can as far as what brand it is.. well.. it isnt lol. I got it off of eBay about a year ago for around 12 bucks shipped. Its just aluminum, that is threaded properly to fit any rifle that has the same threading as the 15-22 does.

As far as the sight, its a G&P Eotech 552 clone ( got sued and now dont mfg. these any more, from what I hear). Its held a PERFECT zero so far, on BOTH my 15-22 and my .223 AR 15(what I used to see how well it holds zero with any amount of recoil, didnt move at all after slightly 300 rounds on the .223) so now its permanant home is my 15-22.

Here are a few shots of it in use. Notice that it doesnt have any "ghosting" as alot of the Eotech clones are know to tend to have. Id say on any given day, this clone has more than lived up to the uses I've had for it. Its the BEST 90-100 bucks I've spent on any firearm to date. By the way, Please forgive my wife's HOT PINK camera's reflection lol. If your wondering how accurate it really is( being a clone) This is a thread I made last November( when I sighted it in for the 15-22) http://smith-wessonforum.com/smith-...-finally-sighted-my-g-p-eotech-552-clone.html

Cool, I am thinking of the primary arms m4 to put on mine, the gun is too addicting for attachments I havent even picked up my .223 AR in months???? Thanks for the info!

Sorry but what is hanging off the left front of your gun

Thats actualy the Bipod's leg, it looks like its part of the flashlight,( on the actual right of the rifle..left in the picture as the rifle is pointed pside down) Its an optical illusion I suppose. If you look at 3rd then the 4th picture, you can see it as it really is. If you look CLOSE at the 3rd picture, you can see the other Bipod leg, slightly sticking out from the directly behind the barrel

My contribution to this pic forum

Here is my recipe:

- 1x S&W MP 15-22
- Bushnell Trophy 1x32 red dot scope
- CAA adjustable cheek riser
- CAA folding front grip
- UTG bipod (Model: TL-BP28ST)
- Magpul XTM rail covers
- 3x ProMag couplers
- 2x S&W 10 round shorty mags
- 2x S&W 25 round mags
- Tactical Crayola :)

I'd like to dismantle the mags and paint the orange followers black. Any thoughts on doing that and/or how to go about it?

You might try boiling the followers in black RIT dye like we used to use on our radio control car wheels.

Finally dialed in

So I got it 2 days ago, been running CCI exclusively. Very happy. Took it and my daughter to the range today to site it in, not sure if you can make it out but the groups are her shooting at 50 yds after I got it sighted in.....pretty happy.

sorry if the pics are bad, there from my phone

My eldest son gave me a nice Magpul version with a red dot scope and hard case for Christmas and the wife gave me a Henry Goldenboy.
I must have been a good boy, or no one caught me.

Unfortunately the rife, as it stands, is classified by NY state as an assault rifle and illegal. So I have had to park it over the state line until I can 'fix' it. I have already traded the barrel out with a guy to get the untreaded version and I'm looking into either pinning the stock (not my first choice) or changing it for the Magpul PRS version.

Does watching The Little Mermaid help with your grouping?

Here is my first and only rifle. Got it last October and I caress it lovingly on a weekly basis.
-Walther PS-22 red dot
-Surefire flashlight mount with Fenix PD30
-CAA Stock Saddle (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
-Hogue AR grip
-Troy Industries rail cover
-Magpul XTM covers

Thinking of doing a Shoe Goo mod on the back of the Stock, to add grip on my shoulder while shooting. Any suggestions?
