Tagging along, I'll post picks after I get a couple more things. :) great looking guns all.

This made my day. All the AFGs I see on this thread are always way farther forward. I was worried that I was a crazy person for having mine to the back like this.

Whatever works. I have one on my AK in that location and it still feels better to me than a vertical grip or nothing at all. I do have to choke up on it a bit though.

Here is mine.

Heres a picture of mine. It's a standard FDE MOE edition with a lucid HD7 optic.

Do you think I should get a couple more ladder panels and cover all the spare rails?

Painted the mags. Added a True Shot Technologies A2 front sight gas block and modded the receiver for a BAD lever.

I think it's done now.

Hey Guys, newbie here. not new to forums or modifying by any means, but picked up a 15-22 and was stoked to see others doing all sorts of things with them. Ordered a mil dot scope, bi-pod, and adjustable grip. waiting for those to come in. in the meantime so far I've done the tacti-crayola on my emblems and such and sanded down and stippled the stock grip.

I'll have more pics tonight but it's basically a stock MOE with some Magpul rail covers, posing with my M&P 9 ;). I'm still looking for the right optics. So far I've go probably 2300 rounds through it and it's been a blast!

The only FTEs I've has is from Winchester M-22 tactical ammo. CCIs, Remington and Federal White has been great.

New Setup

Well, my dad bought me a Centerpoint 4-16x40 illuminated scope for Christmas. He really wanted to see it on the M&P 15-22 but I wanted it on my Marlin 883. So I mounted it up on the M&P to make dad happy and off to the range we went. I have to say, I was quite impressed. After sighting it in, I was shooting tight 100 yard groups and kinda fell in love with it after 500 rounds. I did some late evening shooting as well and the optics are clear and bright at dusk. The scope holds zero very well with the zero locking rings and puts me right on top of the bulls eye at 100 yards. I'm missing my halo and iron sights, so after leaving Dad's house, I put it on the Marlin and it just did not look or feel quite right and I don't think this is the scope for hunting small game due to having to focus at different distances. I regularly shoot squirrel from 10-50 yards and some focus is needed between the those ranges. I put it back on the M&P for plinking and paper and plan on buying a dual rail scope adapter to get the halo and my soon to arrive green laser on. I don't want to make a swiss army knife out of the M&P, so there will be some trial and error to determine the final setup. I might mount the halo at 45 degrees left and the laser 45 degrees to the right and see how things look. I want to stay as compact as possible and keep a secondary quick acquisition setup viable. I've got to keep my marriage viable too, so as money allows, I'm going with a stubby front grip and some 10 round mags. Most of my AR "stuff" comes from my local gun shop (where I can sneak a cash purchase) and he has a limited supply of the good stuff. I'll have to pay a little more and get him to order my stubby front grip and 10 round mags. LOL

Santa was extra good to me this year! Brand new M&P 15-22. I put on my Primary Arms Micro Dot (thanks to the cyber monday sale) and some Troy folding battle sights that a buddy gave me. Can't wait to take it out to the range!

New guy here, but have been browsing this forum for a while. Thought I would share some pictures of my 15-22 that I got about a month ago, and all the new goodies that I got for it for Christmas!

Now all I need is nicer red dot (The one pictured I got free from my dad), and a new Magpul stock!

I know this is an old post, but I would NEVER put use green lettering for the FIRE position. Green (or white) is universally for the SAFE position and red for FIRE.

Green FIRE sends a visually confusing message.

Why does it matter, you should know your weapon well enough to know where safe and fire is by feel. Not by looking at it.
