M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Went to the range today for the first time with my MOE. LOVED IT! 150 rounds of mixed ammo to see what works the best, all of it ran fine, with only one ftf. I'm extremely happy with the gun. What a blast to shoot. I will post pictures soon.

This is my "new" setup. I just got the Barska red dot with a 3x magnifier from Gander Mountain. It was on sale for 99.99. I thought it was a decent price and am surprised how comparable it is to some of our other sights. I just need to get a flip to side mount for the magnifier. Anyone know where I can get one cheap?

At the bottom is my target at 25 yards with 50 rounds. This was after about ten shots to sight it in.

Here's my 15-22 with a VLTOR CASV-ELG forend and a modified Magpul mvg mounted. I still have to pick up a low mount for my Strikefire so I can mount it.

Magpul MBUS
Magpul MOE stock
NcStar 4x9 Rubberized tactical scope /w laser & quick release
Hogue grip
Mako AG-44S Foregrip
Ultrafire wf-502b flashlight /w random amazon rail mount

I want to really like the NcStar scope and I do for the most part but it is not exceptionally clear and has some barrel distortion. It is sufficient for the most part but lacks focus control and image quality of higher end scopes. I also have a Nikon Rimfire BDC 3-9 that I REALLY LOVE but I dont like my current mounting scenario for it.

Anyone know of a good mount for the Nikon BDC that would allow for clean access to the charging handle without being a ultra high mount but still leaving enough room to leave the MBUS sights in place??

I went on Ebay and got a 1" aircraft aluminum riser for $20. I will be mounting the riser in front of the MBIUS then mounting the scope to the riser as far back as I can for easier eye relief. The scope that I have is a 3-9X40

Finally picked her up today.

QuestSHP:

Have you had any problems with your Barska? After about 300 rounds, mine developed crosshair "ghosts". I haven't had a chance to talk to Barska about it yet.

Okay, I think I'll run it like this until I decide to SBR it.

1st gen 15-22 (DTH6...) threaded barrel, JP reduced power yellow springs, Magpul ACS, rear MBUS, MVG, Young Manufacturing flash hider, Hogue overmolded grip, Tacticool22 Free Float adapter, Delta Ring Assembly, VLTOR CASV-ELG handguard, Trueshot Technology A2 Front Sight Base, UTG QD med height ring, Vortex Strikefire red/green dot and Uncle Mike's sling swivel cups.

I got it at a local gun shop. I really wanted another Smith Vortex, but this was the closest that the gun shop had. I might have to go into town to Smith's facility and pick up the Vortex so my AR and 15-22 match.

Can i come over and play monopoly with you?

Details on that flash hider?
I have that same Bushnell Trophy on mine. I haven't seen where too many people are using that one.

My 811033 on the left, bought April of last year. My new today, 811035 MOE in the middle. And, my M&P15a, bought about a month ago

I have to take it to the range this weekend, but I'm liking it more and more, myself. Not enough to pay retail for it, but a lot.

In the Works

This is what my 15-22 currently looks like. Its gone through several thousand rounds already with no problems. Awesome gun! I'll eventually add a PA magnifier behind the micro dot. We'll see what else I want to do with it in the future. The options are limitless!

So my baby just got back from the nice folks at S&W today, and I had to treat her right with some new goodies. :D
