thats cool, not sure its worth doing it to a .22 though, kinda makes the gun even more expensive just for a look. Oh well.

A short barrel .22 with the correct ammo is the closest thing to "Hollywood" quiet. There is a cool factor with it, I've never heard anyone say they wish that hadn't done it.

Nice clean setup

just finished it today. decided to take the fde magpul parts off and stick black on it and save the fde parts for my next 5.56 build.

debating on a sling at the moment.

I like your set up, clean. Is that a Bushnell TSR 25 with the Magpull MBUS? The red dot, is that mounted on a riser for a co-witness?? Thanks, Brian.

Looks like a fixed base Primary Arms micro dot mounted on a UTG riser. The TRS-25 has the brightness dial mounted at a 45 degree angle.

My Take on the 15-22

So when doing some research as to which tactical .22 to buy, I came across this thread and subscribed. I have since purchased the 15-22 (back in January), and have been dying to finish up my modifications so I could post my pictures up here. Well that day has finally come, as I finished yesterday. Let me know what you all think!

15-22

I won two M&P 15-22's and on one of them the only thing I did was replace the rear sight with the classic Vietnam handle sight on the rear from my old Bushmaster ar which i have rigged a little bit more appropriately. I plan to rig it out with a tactical foregrip-bipod, a SSAR-15 bump stock (they do work) and maybe a few other things.
