Here are some updated pictures of my son's 15-22. Replaced the primary arms red dot with an Aimpoint t-1 on a Knights Armament mount, LMT cut and polished trigger with jp yellow springs, and B.A.D.A.S.S. ambi safety. He recently competed in the Central FL Defensive Carbine Club 2 gun shoot with this gun and finished 33rd out of 48 adult shooters. He is 11 btw ;-)

What route did you take with that BAD lever?

xxspudxx - I took a dremel to the lower receiver and shaved off enough to allow clearance for the BAD lever. I then took 800 and 1000 grit sandpaper to it. I really didn't care to scuff the finish since I knew I was having the gun duracoated.

I have one on my 15-22 and can fully recommend it

Here is my 15-22. Still waiting for a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40 to arrive in the mail and waiting to tackle the Mako magwell grip with a Dremel to make it fit. Here are some pics as it stands now.

Right now keeping these simple.


Vortex Strikefire Red Dot only and modified factory grip.

Tasco (made in Japan) 2.5-10X44 and modified factory grip

So far both shoot the 550 Value Pack Remington 36gr HP, Remington 40gr HV Golden Bullet, Winchester 40gr HV and CCI Blazer 40gr very well. The Blazers are the 500 round pack (50021).

I went with the MOE hand guard but I was getting other parts done so I put it back together so I could take it the range. I will be putting it on soon, meanwhile I painted the stock hand guard a dark chocolate brown to go with the multicam.
