My new toy

Just got it. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. Doesn't help that it is winter! :)

Thanks...
It's not stainless...
Hard to tell from a pic, but it looks more of a flat silver color...
It's called norguard ......

I like that a lot!

Just a few pics of my new additions. Upgrades so far include Hogue grip, UTG 3x9-32 Bug Buster scope and Magpul AFG. Took her to the range this past weekend and completely tore out a 2" center square at 50 yards.

Mossberg 500 Persuader is also a new addition. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1363091427.215234.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1363091443.326885.jpg

Hello,

new to the forum but I had her for a while before they introduced the MagPul option. My winter indoor plinker.

I recently added a Tactical Link Battery Assist on her since the Magpul BAD didn't work

I don't know if its allowed on here to ask, but is that a laser/flashlight on there, if so where did you find it?

Tactical Link notes that the battery assist lever will not work with the m&p 15-22. im curious if you have tested it yet. details? successes? failures?

Not a MP15-22, but my cousins brother is going to build me a AR15 similar to this....oh how sexy this is!

Lets you drop or hold the bolt back with your right hand.

Very useful when doing speed reloads, or clearing a jam.

Once you've used one for a few mag changes, you'll never want to be without it. :)

PS - read the description on the web page. Click on MORE.

Sounds like a cool add on and very useful! How difficult is the installation?

Piece of cake. Separate the upper from the lower, sandwich the bolt release paddle between the two pieces of the SBR, screw it together with the hex bit, and you're done. Oh yeah, put the upper and lower back together, and function check. :D

It is highly recommended to cut two turns off of the spring in order to assure 100% operability.

Per a review of this on another thread, the new version is lighter and I believe no springs were cut if I remember correctly and it worked fine.

I beta tested the lighter version for NDZ and on my rifle, cutting the spring was necessary to ensure 100 percent lock back. It was also necessary for my two grandson's rifles, as well.
