I love bright colored followers, even have one in my shotgun, but I have been wondering if anyone here has painted one and had it last. I think it would hold up if prepped and painted correct so if you really paint your followers, post up and report about it.

Mine still look like they came black from the factory.
They are only slightly (less than 1/16th of an inch) wider than the stock buttons. They feel very solid and they are drilled all the way through, which allows for a positive feel when loading. They are only slightly heavier than the stock plastic, and VERY good quality. They DO come covered in some black grease or something, which wipes off pretty easily, so watch out for that when you open them. I'm glad I made the purchase. Here are some comparison pics. The center button is the machined one. The left is stock FDE, the one on the right is stock black.
Nice picts. I plan to do the same side by side photos with the raveneyecustomes models I have just for fun. Will post up photos unless someone beats me to it.
Not that it really matters, but it looks like he does not notch his so they could twist and turn around. Again, no big deal, but you can see the stock ones get a notch so they cannot spin.
Then you should put it in your profile..so we know where you are.!!!!
Also, he might want to think about meeting and getting me some to see if they will sell at gunshows... I am set up at most of the gunshows here in MI... looking for military collectibles... get the word out, might could sell a few thousand more.!!!!
