Marketing 101

I've got a stack of free buckets in my shed, when I see one, not squashed, on the side of the road or floating in the water I pick it up. If the wire bail is rusted I replace it with rope and piece of hose like someone above mentioned. I see the $39.99 versions at the local Academy they sure look nice but that would probably be the one I'd lose or have stolen.
Do YETI charge for those YETI stickers I see on the rear window of lots of pickups? that would really be a marketing coup, let people pay to advertise your products!!!

That's funny. Only buckets I get are from Napa for 10-20% off your purchase. Think the bucket is $3.

I have a cat, so I use Kitty Litter pales, they are pretty tough, they hold water, and dirt, store brass, grow tomato plants, and they are free and last for a long time. 40 bucks for a bucket?

Pop was a contractor,an immigrant and a product of the depression.I remember washing out drywall mud buckets cause they were free.A $4 homer bucket would have pissed him off.One of these...Mein Gott!! his head would have exploded!

Sadly, any I cant fathom why? they charge for the lids too? When a customer comes by buying both? I usually just charge them for the bucket throwing in the lid. As I'm allowed to freely give up to $50 on my own-I just throw in an occasional item-and lids are one of them. It pisses me off too.

Don't you see a lot of various colored Browning Buckmarks on vehicles? Folks pay for those too.

Since I have a pool and buy chlorine tablets, I have those with great locking lids. One is designated in the garage as a trash can, while another is dedicated for mopping the floor. The rest are for whatever a bucket is needed for.

If Yeti was smart, they'd market a toilet seat for the bucket and "specially designed" plastic liners.

Well, ya got to make something out of all those scraps and returned coolers.

Jest re-grind the material and injection mould a bucket....

Time to print me off a load of "Yeti" stickers and slap'em on the old paint and drywall buckets we fish out of construction site dumpsters. I'll sell 'em for 20 bucks on the corner across from the guy who sells those swanky Folex watches.

A very popular ice cream parlour nearby gives away their 2.5 gal pails. They are food grade and have lids. I picked up 10 and they were thrilled that I did.

A FEW FOLKS WITH HOLES IN THEIR BUCKETS, TO BUY YETI'S.

I've got a few stainless 2.5 gallon buckets from dumpster diving at a hospital. Truly amazing what they used to throw out when going to plastic/disposable. Heating up water in them while camping made for a nice hot shower.
