Ice coverage here was complete, but falling turned to rain completely. My guage is put up for winter, but I am guessing from the puddles all around we may have had 3/4" of rain. Frozen ground so everything ran off except for bird bath spots. Due to temps staying right at freezing, ice is not hard frozen to whatever it is covering, just a sheet!
May get cold enough to hard stick tonight? Was interesting to watch the radar on my phone, and see the temperature bubbles of green and yellow rain among the pink areas of freezing. Very lively and active! Dense fog alert for tonight!
