WOW! I applied monday and got my carry permit back in just THREE days, including mail delivery! They said it might be a week or two.

While not new to guns, I haven't shot a lot. Got a Savage Springfield 187R (1968) 10+ years ago, have a couple pump BB guns and a CO2 .22 pellet revolver, and used Dad's Ruger Single Six (1962) for the MN shooting requirement of the carry permit class.
