Recently acquired a Mode 60 Lady Smith to which I'm extremely pleased with,I think I might have overpaid a bit @ $400 but I kinda fell in love with the little dude and had to have it so oh well BUT i have a few questions

1) all the model 60ls that i find on the interwb are all .357 and this is .38,I find some older ones on GB and such,Are they still making the 60ls in 38 only?

2) from the serial and box info in the pic any info such as born on date and what not would be greatly appreciated

3) There seems to be a dash # but can't quit make it out,any help there would be cool, hope it shows up well enough in the pic

well that's good news thanks, here's a pic of what she looks like, also came with factory grip and original cleaning brushes unused in the package,,My original intent was to bob the hammer, now that I have it in my hands there's no way i can take the dremel to it,,It's going to stay as is

To me it looks like the top of a 4, but hard to tell. Mom's 60LS says 60-19 right on the label. Agreed, $400 isn't bad at all in top condition. The newer ones are indeed .357 (but rosewood grips and .357 do not go together in a J frame!).
