Model 13-3, I have a shot at getting one.....

My local dealer got a nickeled 3-inch Mod 13-3 in on trade. I've been offered first dibs on it. The finish looks almost perfect with only very superficial scratches - the kind I should be able to hand polish out. Crown looks perfect, forcing cone doesn't show any erosion that I can see, and lock-up is reasonably good - not rock-solid like my new-purchased M65, but only slight movement like my new-purchased M64.
It's being offered to me at around $350.
Does this seem OK? I'm thinking this is my chance at a nickeled M13 like I passed on 20 years ago. Thoughts?

I'm in the camp with ladder13. That would be a very good buy in my neighborhood, where it would bring $450 and not last long. And if you decide you don't like it you could get your money back in short order. PEN

I'm not a fan of "nickeled" guns, but that's just me. But, any 3 inch M-13 in good condition (blue or nickel) is an excellent buy at $350. My advice is to get it before someone else does.

That is a good deal. 3" are desirable and don't see a lot of nickle 13s. A local shop has a blued 4" with the box for $425.

They're going to hold it back (as in back room) for me until Monday (2 days from this post). I am assuming that no box or other accessories are with it. It has Pachmayr grips on it (not the Compac ones I'll be getting to replace them). That may explain the price(?).

Hey bamabiker - I'd love to know where that 4-inch blued one is. I've been wanting a M13 for a long time before either of these showed up. I wouldn't mind a 4-inch as well, unless you have plans for it.
