Please set me straight. I'd like to buy a model 25. Which model shoots both .45 ACP and .45 Colt and which model shoots .45 Colt only? Thanks

No production model shoots .45 ACP & .45 Colt from the same cylinder, if I'm understanding your question correctly. Some people have special ordered separate cylinders to shoot both from the same gun, and there are other options. It could be I'm not answering what you're asking though, sometimes I'm a little slow

The Model 25-2 shoots both .45 ACP and .45 Auto Rim, which has a case identically sized like a .45 ACP except for a prominent rim to allow extraction without moonclips.

I believe the answer to your question is the 25-2 fires the .45 ACP round (also .45 Auto Rim) and the 25-5 shoots the .45 Colt. Frank Jr.
